Hampton Inn Coldwater

This is my 2nd time coming here in 2 weeks due to a death in the family. My wife and I have felt nothing short of spectacular when it comes to the hospitality here at Coldwater. Everything was top notch. Hailey & Madelyn helped in every way possible. The breakfast lady & housekeeping took care of my small requests. This is a little gem of a hotel & it's the only one I'll stay at. Keep up the fine work & I look forward to seeing y'all again!

A solid, accommodating choice for short stays. The staff are consistently friendly, and the complimentary breakfast, coffee, and adequate fitness/pool facilities add great value. Guests benefit from free, extendable Wi-Fi (especially Hilton Honors members) and a wide selection of channels once you navigate the remote. The only real drawback is the room aesthetic; while clean, the rooms and furnishings are noticeably dated and lack modern conveniences like sufficient power outlets. For those prioritizing budget and reliable service over a contemporary feel, this Hampton Inn is a great fit. For a more modern experience, look elsewhere.

Kara at the front desk was so vivacious, welcoming, and an enthusiastic Green Bay Packer fan as am I, as I am from Wisconsin. She cheered the Packers on with me, even though they narrowly lost the game. She helped me set-up the wonderfully large flat screen TV in my room with a smile on her face. My room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. I will definitely stay here again!

04/20/25 Very nice pet friendly hotel . Excellent location and excellent staff. Jacuzzi room (128) was clean with no issues besides the motor in Jacuzzi was louder than normal. Breakfast was really good compared to most hotels. Staff was very friendly and professional. We will definitely re-visit this hotel.

The outside has been updated but the rooms haven't. From the outside, I was expecting it to be a newer property. The room was as clean as an older room could be, same with hall and lobby. The decor is easily 20 years old, there are gouges in the carpet, the wallpaper is looking rough, the surfaces (counter, tile, shower, carpet) have all seen better days. The bed was hard and the pillows were almost useless, but at least there were 4 of them.

My wife's family held a Celebration of Life for her grandfather in one of the meeting rooms here. They offered a discounted rate for those attending. The staff here always seemed cheery and personable. Their rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. I really enjoyed their breakfast selection in the morning with offerings from simple fruit and cereal to waffle makers and fresh-made hot items. A decent selection of breads were available for toasting. The pool and gym areas were both clean, well lit, and accessible only by room key. While the reason for our visit was a sad one, the accommodations and welcoming staff made it a pleasant stay.

The absolute nicest 2 star hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Very surprised it is only a 2 star. The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff are super nice. The breakfast was also delightful, with plenty of options to choose from. If I could bring this hotel with me for whenever I need one, I’d be so happy!

My mom and I were antique shopping in Allen for the weekend and stayed here for 2 nights. This was one of the best experiences I have had in any hotel! The room, and hotel itself, was very clean. Breakfast was delicious with great options..and they serve until 10am which is great if you're not a morning person. The pool area was clean and well kept. And the staff...I cannot say enough about them. Everyone was so polite and what tiny issue we did have, they took care of immediately! We come to town to shop every year, and we will stay here again, no hesitation! Thanks to this team for having such high standards in customer service!
